Welcome to the 3900 Tunlaw Cooperative, in north Glover Park, a lovely neighborhood in Northwest Washington, DC. Conveniently located with Georgetown to the south and Wesley Heights / Cathedral Heights to the north, we enjoy Glover Park’s beautiful parks, quaint streets, and delicious dining.

3900 Tunlaw Road has its own history It started as a private residence. In 1959 it became the Walton House Apartment Building. In the late 1970’s, it became the 3900 Tunlaw Cooperative (co-op). To learn more about its history, please visit 3900 Tunlaw History to learn more historical information.
Members of a co-op own shares of the corporation rather than owning the unit itself. The number of shares a shareholder holds depends on the size of the occupied unit. The members share the responsibility for the entire property. Our six-floor high-rise has 100 units with one bedroom, two bedrooms and studio plans.
Our building amenities include: a roof top deck with lovely views, an exercise room, and an outside terrace. We have a loading dock, two elevators, an on-site laundry room, a storage area for residents, and most units have assigned parking, either in the gated, secured lot or the garage. We have an on-site building manager. A short walk to Wisconsin Ave, you will find popular restaurants, supermarkets, and other shopping.
The co-op fee includes electricity, gas, water, heat and air conditioning, sewer, and room removal as well as other building/landscaping maintenance, property taxes, and Master Insurance which covers the building as a whole and does not include the interior of your occupied unit, you are required to have a policy for your unit, both shareholders and renters.
